DAY 1 Introduction - Works with the book "How to Walk in the Spirit of God" (Order the book NOW to follow along)
INTRODUCTION - Setting the Stage to Walk...
This study can be done individually or in a group setting.
This program is comprised of 21 days and about an hour to complete each segment. The reason we set it for 21 days is it takes 21 days to change a habit, even in our thoughts! If we walk more in the flesh/soul realm than in the spirit, it's because our mind is on one more than the other. Through this study you will begin to change your thinking which will impact your whole mind, body and spirit.

OBJECTIVE:
There are several discussion/journaling points in each day. If you don't answer all the questions, that is okay. There is no answer key, but pages are referenced. Keep going day to day. What you are doing is FORMING A NEW HABIT of seeking God first! Whether you choose morning, afternoon or evening, you are putting time aside for Him. You are making new habits and making new pathways of thought... the outcome will surprise you! You are actually thinking yourself wiser, and building in knowledge and understanding. The Bible says with all your getting get understanding.
START EACH DAY..
Described below is a DAILY ROUTINE to form a good habit of putting the Lord first before you do the study. You will find that as time goes on, this becomes second nature. You will even go around the house thanking God, praising Him and Worshipping Him... just because! That's what we want to get to... the Bible says to Acknowledge HIM IN ALL OUR WAYS and He will direct our paths. By disciplining ourselves to follow this guide, you are setting yourself up to hear Him, to see Him, and to follow Him in all things, and the BENEFITS that follow are tremendous! Psalm 103:2 says not to forget ALL HIS BENEFITS. Deuteronomy 28:2 says that "all these blessings shall overtake you!" That's what we want. This study will help set the stage for you to receive.
- Thanking God. Give God thanks for what He has done and what He is doing in your life. A thankful person opens up the doors for receiving. God doesn't hear murmuring, He hears thankfulness..
- Praising God. The whole book of Psalms is songs of praise. If you don't know how to praise the Lord, open up the Bible and begin SINGING one of the psalms out loud. By praising God the Bible says He inhabits us. That means you are making Him very real in your present moment. If you don't "feel" Him, then praise Him.
- Worshipping God. We worship God in spirit and in truth (John 4;24). When we worship God it moves the hand of God on our behalf. When we put Him first place in our heart and mind and only think of Him during worship, now you are worshipping Him alone. If you have other things on your mind when you are worshipping God, you are not worshipping Him at all, but only mouth service. You need to worship Him in Spirit and in Truth... with your whole being. If you have to on purpose deliberately take those thoughts that are messing with you and put them in a box and set them aside, then go and worship, so be it. We have to take our thoughts captive so we can worship God! (2 Corinthians 10:5). When we seek Him first (Matthew 6:33) everything we need follows. Worship is key to completion.
- Use a Journal if you like to write down your thankfulness, how it makes you feel, what you did to praise God and how you worshipped. As you see where you are now, you can change and grow as the days move forward.
